However, she fails and is bullied. Yūji notices them, and decides to save Shōko, by fighting the 6th graders. Later that day, Yūji comes home beaten, and Shōko explains to his mother. Yūji's mother then lets little Shōko know that she is rooting for Shōko to gain Yūji's love.
