The Everly Brothers, some years removed from their last chart hit, deliver 'Stories We Could Tell'. The Grease Band, who had famously backed Joe Cocker at Woodstock and on the 1970 'Mad Dogs and Englishmen' tour, tell us about the 'Wild Side of Life' a song which would not have seemed out of place on The Rolling Stones' 'Exile on Main Street'. Future Wings lead guitarist Henry McCullough was lead singer of The Grease Band. The Byrds perform the instrumental 'Black Mountain Rag', plus 'So You Want to be a Rock' n' Roll Star', and that's just the first half of this episode. We also get Three Dog Night's take on Otis Redding's 'Try a Little Tenderness', 'Not to Rearrange', by Mick Abrahams Band, (Abrahams had been the original guitarist for Jethro Tull, before forming Blodwyn Pig), James Taylor performing 'Come on Brother' - and yes, that is Carole King on backing vocals, plus two by Stephen Stillis' Manassas, 'It Doesn't Matter' and 'Hide it So Deep', and Heads, Hands & Feet.
