She offers him a drink of wine from one of the bottles she was taking home. Two bottles of wine later and they are trying on antique shoes and having a great time. Meanwhile, everybody is at the apartment awaiting Joy's return. It's obvious that neither Jack or Boyd thought to make sure that Joy came home at the right time.
