It is only when Charles announces he will tell the whole truth that Walter and Lillian admit they share responsibility for the accident and patch up their differences .
Meanwhile, when Jamie and Sarah have a fight over some clothes, they accidentally knock their grandfather's model shit off the table and break it. Adam sees this and blackmails them into servitude for himself. Charles tries to convince them to come clean and tell their grandfather the truth.
