J.R. invites Pam, Mark, Afton and Cliff to the annual Ewing barbecue. J.R. wants Cliff to think that he's sincere about ending the Barnes/Ewing feud. Sue Ellen is upset to see Peter at the barbecue but then they kiss. In Rome, Katherine reads Charlie's birth certificate which says Bobby is Charlie's father.
