Er versteht gut, dass Nikki so um ihre Oma kämpft, doch manche Dinge lassen sich auch mit aller Kraft und Liebe nicht aufhalten. Karin hat Kontakt zu Stefans Mutter aufgenommen und versteht nicht, warum Stefan und seine Mutter sich seit dem Tod des Vaters so entfremdet haben. Anscheinend hat selbst ein Stefan Vollmer manchmal noch etwas aufzuarbeiten.
