Across the country, New Jersey nurse, Melanie McGuire and her husband Bill, have worked hard and are finally buying their dream house. Despite the new home, there is tension in the marriage and following a nasty argument, Bill packs up, leaves, and disappears without a trace. Melanie tells police that Bill is a gambler, and they begin looking for him in Atlantic City--yet, nothing prepares them for how and where they will find Bill McGuire.
