While new in Miami, Konner is legendary law enforcement officer from the Washington, D.C. field office. Sisco and Konner track down the last surviving family member of Watson living in Tampa, and she lets them know that the fugitives are trying to get to Costa Rica. Oh, and they have her car.
Sisco and Konner track the car to a convenience store, and a gunfight erupts. Konner shoots and kills 6pak and is temporarily taken off the case while the gunfire is investigated. Konner tries to continue the investigation.
Concerned with her hostile, erratic partner, Sisco investigates Konner. It turns out that Konner blames gang members for killing his partner, and might be responsible for the death of Watson's brothers.
