Alison pulls out all of the stops, giving this firehouse a rolling island, a giant prep space, brand new stainless steel and high gloss red custom cabinetry and a coffee bar. Old and dirty appliances are replaced with four refrigerators and two dishwashers. Alison adds a personal touch to the space, creating a giant dedication wall to remember fallen officers and commemorate the history of the firehouse, complete with a hand-painted mural of the house logo. To keep the firefighters organized, Alison installs an information wall covered in chalkboard paint and a custom chalkboard calendar to keep track of daily chores and shifts. To combat the long shifts, Alison installs a full coffee bar and gives the firefighters two new coffee makers. A DIY pot rack made from an old ladder, some fireman inspired ornaments and a lot of holiday cheer makes this transformation a true holiday celebration.
