Karen and her 'Open Mike' producer Dianne don't get along. Paige and Paula keep vigil over Greg, who is paralyzed and needs an operation. Police guard Greg's hospital room. Mary Francis's boyfriend Robert goes to the hospital and climbs in Greg's window. Robert tells Greg he is going to inject him with the chemicals Greg made, so he will suffer like his victims. Robert says Mary Francis was dying of this, so he killed her to publicize the plight, and then killed Oakman. Robert injects the chemicals into Greg, then gives himself up to the police.
