Holland in distress! In the holiday park 'Das Paradies', which is almost exclusively inhabited and managed by Dutch people, the chip shop owner, Jaap Mulders, lies dead in a pool of 'Saté-Saus'. Initial investigations show that the mood among the bungalow park residents is rather tense. Lieke, the wife of park operator van Uffelen, had an affair with the owner of the chip shop. However, it quickly turns out that Mulders wanted to put an end to the liaison. Was jealousy the motive? Sophie, Dietmar and Bärbel are 'supported' in their investigations by Jos de Jong, a retired commissioner from the island of Texel. For Sophie, however, it is also getting tight privately, because Kauth is apparently getting worse and worse with the new non-binding nature of their relationship.
