While driving the truck carrying the boulder, Forte begins to imagine the kind of dashing rogue that would be so dangerous and begins to let her curiosity get the better of her, much to Maribu's distress. Forte's curiosity causes the boulder to break more, leaving nothing but a black ball. She hears warnings and threats from the inmate. In the end, Forte drops the ball and began to torture it, trying to get him to show his power.
