While he battles Kale in the Wild Magic over the control of the key to the Jewel Box, the girls use Merlin’s Jewel box to release the magic of the Crystal Palace and restore Avalon. Lady Kale is destroyed, but to achieve this, Merlin has sacrificed his magic jewel and he cannot come back.
