Given six hours to complete their spaces, the happy couple would then decide their favourite, with each member of the winning team receiving $2000 to put towards their renovations. Though the Golds looked more assured early on, a late surge from the Blacks saw them complete a stunning space which better fit the couple’s wishes. Mel and her winning troops then got to decide who faced off in the second head-to-head, choosing Peter and Sam.
