Russen (Russians) is a Dutch police series of KRO which was first broadcast in 2000. In 2004, after the fifth season, there were a total of 42 episodes of the series made. Russians was an idea of Frank Jansen by him in collaboration with Addy Weijers developed. The episodes of Russians were written by a team of writers that included Dick van den Heuvel, Simon de Waal, Stan Lapinski and Addy Weijers.
