When the gang goes to place, Eli take the adventurer to a room, tricks him and slips with the journal and returns to the hideout. When talking about the situation, the adventurer comes with a group of slingers as he didn't sling a slug in his whole life. The gang duels the group and in the middle of the battle, he burns the journal using Burpy. So, the adventurer leaves with grief. Eli then reveals the secret that he has come from the surface and shows the tunnel through which he came to Slugterra.
