Guarded by Blaggard's men, Speed, in his Mach 5, heads to Misty Valley, the location of the hidden treasure. They overnight in a lodge and Speed radios for help. However, Blaggard stops him and accidentally sends the homing robot home.
Meanwhile, at the Racers, Trixie, who says she was 'stood up' by Speed, awakens Pops. Spritle blames the homing robot for waking him. Alarmed, Trixie rushes off to find Speed.
The next morning, one of Blaggard's thugs enters the lodge with Lana, a Misty Valley native (Trixie in disguise). On the road, 'Lana' and Speed escape and proceed to a village where Pops waits.
