When they went to the king to collect their payment and nuts, they're turned away. When they protest, a Chancellor Trample comes and tells them that they cannot afford to pay them. When Baloo and Louie investigate, they find that the chancellor is intentionally running the economy into the ground in hopes the absent-minded king will force princess Lotta L'Amour to marry him. With their income and cargo still needed, and now the help of the princess, Baloo and Louie decide to stay and help prove the chancellor is cheating the royal family.
