Hardy is torn when he discovers that his cousin, Dominic, left the venue minutes before the shooting and suspects that he may have had something to do with the attack. When he discovers that Dominic was the one who let the gunman into the building via a fire escape, he vows to have nothing more to do with his wayward cousin.
