Pétur and Jón are well-known for their work together on “Næturvaktin” (“The Night Shift”), a television show focusing on employees of a Laugavegur gas station. Jón, who is set to direct five of the ten episodes, plays the Major of Reykjavík in this satirical take on politics in Iceland. “It’s a tragi-comedy, much like actual Icelandic politics,” Jón says.
