With the old man's directions, Shintarō heads for the Wind Fort and finds the map of the Water Castle. Dennai attacks him but their fight is cut short when the old man shoots the ninja. Shintarō is safely reunited with Tonbei and Shūsaku and they continue their journey to the Water Castle.
