Grubby finds a picture of the Seventh Crystal in the Crystal Book, only
the Crystal in the picture is unblemished. Gimmick examines the Crystal more closely, and causes it to project a hologram of Illiops living in the Hard To Find City, and then an image of what appears to be Teddy as a young boy, running to his mother. They decide to head to Leekee Lake right away to tell
Teddy about this development, and begin making preparations.
In the bustle, LB steals the Black Box (with the Crystal in it, natch)
and takes it to Tweeg, who immediately takes it to MAVO, planning to return it
to Quellor in exchange for lifetime membership to the Organization. However,Ickly points out that the Supreme Oppressor must poses the Black Box at all times, and since Tweeg possesses the Box, he must therefore be the Supreme Oppressor. Quellor is thrown in the dungeon.
Meanwhile, the Hermit shows Teddy an ancient underwater city at the
bottom of Leekee Lake. Gimmick and Grubby land the Airship, and the Hermit
runs off, much to Teddy's dismay.
