Hemmingway arrests a 17-year-old girl, Shirley Moss, on shoplifting charges and forms a bond with the girl when Shirley tells her she's pregnant. Hemmingway convinces the shopkeeper to drop the charges, and when the father of Shirley's child turns out to be big-time drug dealer Rifkin, Nixon and Hunter organise an SO19 raid on Rifkin's flat, but with drug courier Sonny and Shirley both in police custody, Rifkin clearly has his bases covered.
