Sooty wants to play his Xylophone, Soo wants too sing ( but she decides not to after a dangerous incident involving Matthew) and Sweep wants to tell jokes but there is a slight problem as Sweep doesn't know any jokes, so Matthew tries to help Sweep. In the end Soo doesn't want to sing, and Sooty and Sweep decide to play the drums. Matthew phones up a friend to show Sooty and Sweep what the words of drummer really mean. In the end all of them enter the Talent Contest with the help of the drummer from Iron Maiden, Nicko McBrain.
